NOTES ON BLINDNESS
A film by PETER MIDDLETON & JAMES SPINNEY
Based on John's extensive audio diaries, first published in his classic 1990 book "Touching The Rock", this innovative film uses actors to lip-sync audio from John and wife Marilyn as they come to terms with John losing his sight in 1980.
The result is a highly intimate and articulate reflection on blindness.
An Archer's Mark production, in association with Fee Fie Foe Films and 104 Films, and in co-production with Agat Films & Cie and ARTE France.
